Rant or Rave: Dumaluan Beach Resort (Panglao, Bohol)

One last post for today! Is my experience at Dumaluan Beach Resort.

This is a trip with my sister last September. The whole travel package is pre-arranged and we chose Dumaluan Beach because it has good reviews and the cheapest we can find during that time.

Me and my sister decided to make this trip because we had a feeling she will be flying to UK soon and thus, this will be my despedida getaway treat for her.

I have no qualms about this resort. And the beach is definitely stunning. It can't quite compare it to the liveliness of Boracay because for one, I didn't find the time to walk around because me and sis were really tired on our first day.

The resort has it's own pool which we only tried on our last day. We also liked the food served during breakfast - we actually had a buffet styled breakfast and I think their prices are reasonable.

They have very accommodating staffs as well who made sure our stay in the island was memorable. We even had a chat with one of the waiters who also used to work in Manila but had to go back to Bohol due to the harder life in the city.

Lovely beach during lunch time

Hinagdanan Cave and last day in Bohol

So it's our third day on our Bohol Getaway. We decided to get breakfast first then take a dip in the beach and the pool before finally fixing ourselves for our departure. It was good that our flight is in the afternoon and we got enough time to drop by the Hinagdanan Cave.

What a beautiful morning that greeted while we get our breakfast.

After our sumptuous lunch, we head to the Hinagdanan Cave. It was good that our guide even knows how to do the setting on the cam. So he was able to capture very nice photos since it's a bit dark in the cave.

We had some bit of time looking at the souvenir shops near the cave. I got some shirts for myself and my family.

Goodbye and thank you Bohol!

I love the in-flight meal on our way back to Manila
So there you go with our Bohol trip. I'm probably writing up the post-accounting next week. Hay, can't wait to have another getaway. Where to next?

Bohol Day 2: Dolphin Watching and Island Hopping

On the night of our first day, I was discussing with my sister that since we got no plans for the next day we can just go with the dolphin watching and island hopping tour. So we booked it and we are expected to be fetched at 5:30 in the morning of the next day.

Had to get bfast before the tour
So we woke up at 5am so we can first have breakfast before starting on the tour. It was good the breakfast is all set at the dining area of Dumaluan Beach Resort. We had some mixed veggies and beef picadillo. There's fruits and drinks are also served.

It was a quiet morning we had some time to take photos while waiting for our guide.

Good Morning Dumaluan Beach

Waiting for our guide

Welcome To DBR!

There were nice little huts
Our guide arrived in a few minutes and we started on our journey to sight dolphins. There have been a problem with the boat when we were half way so we had to wait another one to get us transferred to. We are still able to catch dolphins but it wasn't easy to spot them. I only got a video but no photos. Still happy to have seen dolphins in their natural habitat and not caged.

After the dolphin watching we head to Balicasag Island. That's where we are getting lunch and also do snorkeling.

I'm still sleepy haha

Woohoo! Off to see the dolphins

Off to Balicasag Island
What a bright sunny day

Finally, we've set foot on Balicasag

Wow, Balicasag
Ready to go snorkeling

After the tour, we head back to our hotel and rested for until dinner time.

Our dinner at Dumaluan Beach Resorts resto is superb and we are definitely so full, no doubt.
